Who will stop seemingly unstoppable Jon Jones?

There is a lot of talent in the 205 division and a lot of potentially high selling fights to line Jon Jones defense & reign. I personally think a lot of these fights are a waist of time because Jones seems so dominate but some could argue my opinions. In my opinion the best selling fights with current 205 fighters would be; Jones Vs Evans, Jones Vs Machida, Jones Vs Bader 2 & maybe Jones Vs Jackson. All of these fights sound good, but personally I am not really interest in seeing them any time soon, I kind of feel they are a bit of a waist of time or certain fighters need to prove they are ready again.

I will explain why I am not interested in these fights individually at the bottom.

I am more excited to see Jones fight some of the up and comers like Phil Davis (8-0), Staninslav Nedkov (11-0), & maybe Alexander Gustafsson (11-1). I think all the above need a few more fights but out of all Phil Davis has the most potential and likely to get the first crack of the bunch. Honestly the fight that I am most interested in is Jon Jones Vs Anderson Silva; I think that fight makes the most sense right now seeing as how Evans and Jones are such good buddies and don’t seem to want to fight each other. Why I want to see that fight is a whole new blog and Article on its own so I will work on that next.

There are a few other 205 fighters that may be a good show if they take on Jones.

Jones Vs Franklin could be a decent fight if Franklin can string a few wins together and move up to contender ranks.
Jones Vs Little Nogueira could be good; Lil Nog always brings the fight and likes to trade.
Jones Vs T. Silva has potential if Thiago can string a couple wins and stay out of trouble; his nearly unmatched power could give Jones & anyone trouble.

Why I am not interested in the fights mentioned above; well let’s start with Jones Vs Evans. First off they don’t want to fight each other because they are friends, I would have a hard time fighting any of my friends; There would have to be a falling out for me to fight a friend and I wouldn’t want to see that happen to Jon & Rashad not over a belt. Rashad should jump to middle weight, not only his height suitable for that division but I think his over all health would benefit in the long run, Some doctors say a 185 is even high weight for some one who is 5’11”. In the end I think this fight has potential to be a snooze fest or will look like a sparing match and I am more interested in seeing Rashad at 185.

Jones Vs Machida could be good but Machida needs to string up a few wins and fill a few holes in his game before another title shot in my opinion. Some would say he lost his last 3 fights in a row, but it’s safe to say after coming of losses in his last 2 fights that he needs to prove his self again by taking a few none title fights and he is headed down the right road taking on Randy Couture, that fight could benefit either fighter.

Jones Vs Bader 2 will be a good fight if they wait awhile and let Bader work on some holes in his game. Bader is another one of these young fighters like Jones, who gets better every fight; but after the decisive win for Jones 6 weeks ago it would be too soon to fight Jon again and would more then likely add another loss to a stand out record amongst the 205 Division.

Jones Vs Jackson would sell large PPV & Tickets, Rampage always comes to bang but, I personally think that is what works against him at times. Quinton needs to keep improving his boxing game and start use again what helped him so much in his pride days; his wrestling. Still Jackson is always a threat with his knock your head off power & is still in a contender slot and a win over Matt Hamill should put him almost back near the top of the heap.

Anyways thanks to all those who stopped by to check out my blog from Bleacher Report & special thanks all my friends and family on Facebook who took time to read my article and stop by.

Please check out some a Google adds to help me make some spare cash; working a commission job is tough and the fact that I am one week new to it isn’t helping me make money so I am as good as unemployed. Remember the more you click the more you help my poorness.

Also please check out my YouTube (www.youtube.com/tysonleeharris); be sure to make a YouTube account and subscribe to my Channel as that could potentially put money in my pocket if I generate enough traffic. I am planning to put more of my music on there and I may start doing video blogs to go with my bleacher reports and my blogs on here, not to mention I will be highlighting my MMA training camps when I have a fight booked and Posting what ever fights I can if not all of them.
